A visual adaptation of the out-of-print memoir, Pocketing Change: Conversations on Crime and Couture as Told to Phyllis Gillibrand, which focused on the fascinating Miriam Curtis (née Kurtzman). Curtis, who adopted the nom de guerre Foxglove, was a seamstress from the 1940s-60s by day, and moonlighted as a pickpocket, designing men's suits to steal from, specifically targeting those who ran factories that exploited workers. Foxglove focuses briefly on her 1940s career as she comes into her own, complete with images of the very suits she crafted.
